Have you thought about working with the madfish-webtoolkit (Mad Fish's C++ web development toolkit) author? Seems like you have some similar goals (especially performance..).
Hello,
I had take a look on madfish project. It seems to be at quite beginning of its way and provides subset of CppCMS features.
But yes, I think it would be interesting to talk to Mad Fish's tookit developer.
Edit: do you know how to contact him? I can't see any information on project web site.
